Aims & Scope
The Journal of Multilingual Communication Disorders is the only scholarly journal that specifically targets research on communication disorders in multilingual populations, and in under-researched populations. In recent years, the emphasis on multilingual and multicultural issues in speech-language pathology has increased markedly. However, there is still a dearth of studies that can serve as the basis of best practice with populations whose languages do not form part of the typical research mainstream. This journal is an important tool to help fill this gap. Its readers and authors include researchers in speech-language pathology, clinical linguistics and phonetics, as well as practicing speech-language pathologists and educators.
